TIME FLIES
A bottle of wonderful Mexican tequila inspired the creation of a miniature.
Calavera (CALAVERA) – the image of a skull, is a symbol of the Day of the Dead in Mexico. El Dia de Muertos is a traditional holiday when families honor and remember deceased loved ones, believing that at this time the spirits return to the world of the living. On this day, a Portal opens and two Parallel Worlds unite so that the living and the dead can meet.
The Mayans and Aztecs held a cyclical view of the universe and considered death an integral, ever-present part of life. And after death, a person goes to the Land of the Dead, and death is just part of the life cycle.
A reminder that another life cycle is coming to an end is Time, which inexorably flows and passes. Image
Time that “flows” is Salvador Dali’s brilliant 1931 creation “The Persistence of Memory.”
The timer stopped, mechanical Time “flowed”, the sand from the hourglass poured out… Another life cycle is completed…
TIME TO FLY TO A PARALLEL UNIVERSE!!!
