El Dia de Muertos is a traditional holiday when families honor and remember deceased loved ones, believing that at this time the spirits return to the world of the living. On this day, a Portal opens and two Parallel Worlds unite so that the living and the dead can meet.
\nThe Mayans and Aztecs held a cyclical view of the universe and considered death an integral, ever-present part of life. And after death, a person goes to the Land of the Dead, and death is just part of the life cycle.<\/p>\n
